This is so amazing! The winner this week at Spoonflower features a scene from the Russian folk tale about the Firebird. You can see Prince Ivan chasing after the firebird on horseback with slavic steeples in the background. When Prince Ivan catches his prize, as I recall he brings back the caged bird on a flying carpet. This print might not fly, but it certainly is magical.
